Position Overview

Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for administrating all aspects of human resource practices. This role reports to the Manager of Human Resources and supports business needs, ensures proper development & Implementation of company policies and procedures including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with all State and Federal laws. This role collaborates with the Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to ensure accurate employee records are maintained

Core Responsibilities

1. Recruiting

  • Work with senior leadership and hiring managers on managing full-cycle recruitment including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.

  • Conduct strategic candidate sourcing activities to identify and attract top talent for current and future hiring needs, leveraging applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, networking, and other recruitment resources (job boards, social media, networking, referrals).

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and create compelling job descriptions.

  • Coordinate interview schedules and ensure timely communication with candidates.

  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure compliance with hiring policies.

  • Facilitate onboarding processes, including preparing new hire documentation and conducting orientation sessions.

  • Coordinating offboarding processes

2. Employee Relations

  • Maintain employee records in HRIS system ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Promote company culture, employee recognition and internal communications

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures

3. Compliance & Training

  • Help organize training sessions, performance reviews, and engagement initiatives

  • Maintain employee training for compliance mandates & tracking using Mineral Training Platform

  • Ensure all employee certifications are up to date (MD, RN, CRC, etc)

  • Develop & implement policies and procedures that are in compliance with all Federal, State and local laws

4. Employee KPI & Reviews

  • Assist managers with performance reviews, KPI’s and employee development

  • Ensure all completed reviews are maintained in the employee folders

  • Assist with employee development training where needed

5. Cross‑Departmental Support

  • Provide support to the General & Administrative Team as needed, including file preparation, data gathering, and administrative tasks.

  • Provide dependable back‑up coverage for payroll processing

  • Provide dependable back‑up coverage for benefit administration & Open Enrollment periods

Performance Indicators

Quality & Accuracy

  • Applicant tracking system is up to date and complete

  • Employee folders are well-organized and compliant with all State & Federal requirements

  • Employee certifications are up to date

Timeliness & Throughput

  • Tasks are completed on schedule

  • Proper communication when delays are expected

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with Payroll & Benefits Coordinator for employee records

  • Proper communication with employees, managers and executives

  • Team-work approach for all aspects of HR

Operational Support & Reliability

  • Supports General & Administrative Team as requested, contributing to overall workflow efficiency.

  • Demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness during periods of increased volume or shifting priorities

Experience:

  • Full cycle recruiting: 5 years (Required)

  • HRIS: 5 years (Required)

Job Type: Full-Time, non-exempt

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00
