Fee Schedule Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a Fee Schedule Specialist with hands-on experience in Bill Review for the Workers’ Compensation and Auto Insurance industries, specifically from the payer’s side. Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process medical billing claims for NYS Workers' Compensation and Auto Insurance.
Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues, denials, and appeals.
Maintain compliance with state guidelines, fee schedules, and billing regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper coding and claim submission.
Stay up to date on NYS Workers' Compensation and Auto billing policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Bill Review within Workers’ Comp and Auto industries.
Deep understanding of payer-side processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding, and NYS fee schedules.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Experience:
Medical billing: 2 years (Required)
Strataware / Conduent: 1 year (Required)
Other fee scheduling billing software programs for Payers (Required)
